I'm Sarah, I have been in architecture & design for more than 20 years. I have designed projects from high-end residential, boutique commercial, restaurants, corporate retail, pickleball & fitness centers.
I have a vast knowledge of architectural design, sustainability, codes, construction techniques, managing projects, consultants & contractors.
I am a certified ADA Coordinator & have extensive knowledge of the ADA, inclusive and accessible design, & disability related topics. I am also an educator on such topics to small & large groups.
I am part of AIA MN and am active member on committees.

Life Time- Chanhassen

Life Time Chanhassen Pickleball is a ground up and first dedicated luxury pickleball only facility.
From the ground breaking in early September 2023 to turnover the end of March 2024, this project was fast-paced design and construction project.
This is a precast, tilt up insulated panel construction with double Ts & built-up roofing system. That includes 8 indoor & 7 outdoor pickleball courts, retail & reception space, luxury amenities, a mezzanine level & outdoor lounge spaces for viewing.

Life Time - Penn 1

Life Time at Penn 1 in the heart of Manhattan was a two phase project.
We took over an existing fitness club on 2 floors and rebranded it with signage, finishes & equipment to be more in line with the Life Time brand.
We also took over an empty space on the first floor, an old retail space that had multiple floor levels & many challenges that made the transformation of this space magical.
This club features an extensive workout floor, boutique studios, luxurious amenities, 7 indoor pickleball courts for open play, lessons & leagues, & dedicated space for Life Times Alpha, DPT, & GTX high intensity programs.

Best Buy

At Best Buy, I worked on thousands of projects, from small branding projects to full-scale remodels, all across the country, while leading the development process & scope definition for store remodels & transformations.
I worked with internal cross functional teams, from real estate to store planners & construction managers, to external architects, civil engineers, GCs and other consultants.
I worked with all of these teams to drive target goals for cost, quality, & schedule while driving efficiency in the development process.

Residential

I worked in high-end residential for more than 15 years, creating one of a kind, highly detailed homes for individual clients.
Using the most up to date construction methods, sustainable resources, and exceptional design techniques to create beautiful spaces that reflected the needs of the clients and the environment in which the home was built.
I collaborated with other designers, contractors, consultants, and government agencies to create the spaces desired by clients.
